9. "minmin" cicada
Minmin cicada just after metamorphosis.
They are usually at low place, and allow an easy shot.

8. Doctor heli
On passing by Hokuso hospital, occasionally I enter into the hospital backyard, where a MD-902, one of the 2 doctor helicopters of the municipality, is stationed.
I frequently see this helicopter flying overhead, its noise level is considerably lower than other types. The design of this no tail-rotor makes it possible.

7. Subaru Sambar classic
Subaru Sambar Dias Classic. Sitll seen on the streets.
In front of the gate of Hououzan Honzenji temple, Hokke sect of buddhism (Nichiren sect), overlooking Hakkakuko lake, around the final destination of Onari Kaido road.

6. Late autumn
Went to Nikko where the winter was approaching.
The return drive was throuhg the route No. 122, via an old mining town of Ashio and along the Watarase river, by turning left at the intersection after passing the factory of Furukawa Denko.
Denko's name seemed to have changed to Furukawa something.

5. Stag beetle, gynandromorph
Went to a museum exhibiting Naumann elephant, to see a stag beetle said to be found by a high school student in Ryugasaki.
The upper part is of a male type, and the front legs and below is indeed of a female type.
It is said that the word "hermaphrodite" on a newspaper indicates a different meaning and wrong, and that this is to be called gynandromorph.
Though the upper and lower gynandromorph is rare, that of the left and right is not. I remember I have seen several times stag beetles with a large horn at one side and a small one at the other.

4. ASDF trainer T-7
Nov. 3rd is the day for Iruma air show. Tried a rare train ride and got off at Inariyama Koen station.
Have not seen this flying around this area. The craft is from the base either in Yamaguchi or Shizuoka.
Made by Fuji Heavy. Next radio controlled craft can be this one.

3. Sakatagaike pond
Can be reached by descending Doramunosato.
Have visited once or twice every season.

2. Over 20-year active service
Repair was only once, replacement of the front glass.
Others, only replacements of batteries by the maker every 3-4 years.
At the last 2 replacements, I was told that the authorized 10-atm water-proof packing was no more available. Still it has been working without any problerm.
Despite full of sophisticated mechanismes, this is robust and accurate.
